{"id":26507,"date":"2023-09-13T15:50:40","date_gmt":"2023-09-13T14:50:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.locksmith.works\/?p=26507"},"modified":"2025-07-20T10:33:54","modified_gmt":"2025-07-20T10:33:54","slug":"unlocking-future-leaders-for-wavemaker","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/locksmith.works\/unlocking-future-leaders-for-wavemaker\/","title":{"rendered":"Helping Wavemaker create the next generation of future leaders"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>We\u2019re&nbsp;delighted to announce we are designing and delivering a completely bespoke eight-month leadership programme for <a href=\"https:\/\/wavemakerglobal.com\/uk\/\">Wavemaker UK<\/a>, to create Wavemaker&#8217;s high-performing leaders of the future. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Where it all began&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Wavemaker UK is run by two brilliant women, Kelly Parker (CEO) and Katie Lee (COO), known for their people-first, collaborative leadership styles. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project began when Katie approached Alex looking for senior training and coaching for&nbsp;the top layer of talent under the Wavemaker leadership team. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>LockSmith worked closely with Wavemaker to define the brief, hosting a Discovery Workshop to get the right decision-makers in the room at the right time. Of our Discovery Workshop, Katie said:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;The discovery workshop&nbsp;was an invaluable kickstart to the training programme as it ensured that we spent time together as a leadership aligning on our priorities. Having the senior team excited and clear on common goals is a must.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.locksmith.works\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/A6091710-BAC9-4AAA-B167-1945583C8DC7-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-26514\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Developing the course&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The course will define, teach &amp; embed the key behaviours needed to be a successful leader, inspire future leaders to take ownership of their development, and equip them with the skills they need to successfully navigate and lead in a matrix organisation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We will do this via a 360 programme, which will include six workshops, mentoring, 1:1 and peer coaching, and profiling. The workshops will cover everything from defining &amp; leveraging an authentic leadership style to fostering first-class relationships with clients and building high-performing teams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Kicking off the programme &nbsp;&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We launched the programme with a three-hour kick-off event at the Wavemaker offices this week.
